This is a good scripture to think of when something bad happens. When i read this i know that God isn't the one doing it. The devil is here to steal kill and destroy. But no matter what you are struggling with God can help you through it. Did you know that definition of struggle is to proceed despite great difficulties.
2 Peter 1:5-9
- For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance,brotherly kindness, godliness, and love. If you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive. (also in 1 Timothy 4:8)
My mom pointed out this scripture to me and i read it myself and wanted to know more. So i looked up the meanings to the words and when i came to godliness it gave me this scripture. I thought that was pretty kool. No one likes a lazy butt so get into the word and master these skills!
Mathew 18:18-20
- I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth WILL be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again i tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it Will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For when two or more come together in my name, there am i with them. Wow, its amazing how much power we have in Jesus name. Some people don't understand that when Jesus died And Arose he not only payed the price for our sins and gave us healing he gave us HIS authority. So own it!
